NNEC Music Auxiliary


We are planning a trip to Washington in May 2015.  The total trip cost is $1400.00 but the cost per student is $1300.00 as the auxiliary is covering $100 per student.  Students will be flying to Washington and will require a valid passport.
Registration is now open to all grades and will be on a first-come first-served basis for only those students who are fully registered in the music program with first semester fees paid.
CLICK HERE for the Registration Form.  A completed registration form and initial payment of $200.00 required upon registration.  Post dated cheques for $200.00 dated Nov.1st, Dec.1st, Jan.1st, March 1st, April 1st, and $100 dated May 1st  will be required.
We hope to be providing you with more details and an itinerary soon. 
The order has been placed and we expect the shipment to arrive by the end of this week or early next week. 

Sales kits and Catalogues  are available in the music room at school or you can contact Linda  via NNEC Music and she will make arrangements to get them to you.

Selling QSP magazines provide an opportunity for students to earn 32% of their sales in student credits.  The catalogues have  a variety of magazines.
Orders are due by November 1 ( order form orders) to accommodate Christmas giving.  Please return the forms and payments to the music room. 
Please put all cheques or money in a sealed envelope with the students' name on the outside. 
Magazines can be ordered at anytime on-line so if you have last minute order after that date you can place your order on line to get the credit.
Draw is Sunday December 7, 2014 at the NNEC Music Holiday Concert.
A picture of the quilt is being produced and we will forward a copy to all.  If you need extra tickets you can contact Linda Boudreau via NNEC music and she will arrange to get some to you.  We are arranging to have a table at Highland mall on different dates, information to follow.  100% of sales will be credited to students.
Please return ticket stubs and moneys to the music room, as always in a sealed envelope with student name on it.

Drop off your recyclables at the Golden Penny Enterprise Depot on Bridge Street in Stellarton or the Bill Stewart Enviro Depot on Westville Road.  Ask them to credit NNEC Music.
T-shirts will be ordered shortly for casual uniform purposes.

Friday October 17, the NNEC Combo Band will be performing at The Tearmann Society 30th Anniversary Gala Event held at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

Tuesday October 21, There will be an In-School Free Concert – The St. FX JAZZ Quartet will be performing.

Friday October 24, NNEC will be hosting the Nova Scotia Music Educators Ass. - The Concert Choir is asked to be at school at 8:15 am to set up for a morning performance

Thursday, November 6th, NNEC will be hosting "A Night of Remembrance" 7:30 pm in the Presentation Centre.  Admission $5 - Advance tickets available at NNEC, Big Al's, from music students or by contacting nnecmusic@live.com
